The first version of this site, amryfath.com was bought from Namecheap on november 26 2011. But when the .com version was due to be renewed, I decided to replace it with amryfath.uk. At the moment I still have that, but I bought amryfath.nu from NuNames on october 27 2025. It is hosted by Enchanting.

I can't remember why I particularly wanted to buy this domain, but it must have been a good idea at the time! It is a Welsh word, meaning "miscellaneous", pronounced am-ru-vath. By buying the .nu version, I decided to make this into one of my major websites and move smaller sites into it. I'm going to drastically reduce the number of domains I own, so that it makes sense to buy one domain of a more expensive kind. I tried out a few ideas, but in the end it came down to this one, meaning "miscellaneous" and so perfect for a personal website that will include various things.
